Trauma Art Narrative Therapy Level One Workshop

9am-12pm: TANT Didactic Session
Learning Objectives:
- Describe Trauma theory and traumatic memory processing theory and how it applies to the TANT method
- Identify the appropriate clinical situations in which to apply TANT with children and adults
- Describe the process of informed consent and how to consider the use of TANT with clients
- Identify the steps of the TANT process
- Describe situations where using the TANT method could be most helpful as well as situations where it is contraindicated
1pm-4pm: TANT Experiential Session
Learning Objectives:
- Utilize the TANT+ resilience building tool
- Identify the most common problems in using the TANT method
- Explain how you would recognize when the TANT process is completed for a client and what follow up is needed

Nurses: As an American Psychological Association (APA) approved provider, CES programs are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). These courses can be utilized by nurses to renew their certification and will be accepted by the ANCC. Every state Board of Nursing accepts ANCC approved programs except California and Iowa, however CES is also an approved Continuing Education provider buy the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider # CEP15567) which is also accepted by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
